Paul Scheuing

Paul Scheuing is originally from Quarryville, Pennsylvania, but he and his family moved to Alabama in 1991. Bro. Scheuing attended Liberty University, where he earned his degree in music education. He has been teaching for a total of 38 years (15 years at LBA!), and his favorite class to teach is band and orchestra. Bro. Scheuing started the first LBA band, and he has faithfully directed the LBC orchestra. His wife is Mrs. Sue Scheuing, and they have three children and four grandchildren.

Bro. Scheuing enjoys spending his spare time with his family. Bro. Scheuing’s life verse is Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Bro. Scheuing’s goal this year is “to have a closer walk with the Lord than I had last year.” We appreciate Bro. Scheuing’s example of faithfulness and integrity. We are very blessed to have him part of our Lighthouse family, and we all look forward to hearing his daily jokes!
