Folsom Myers

Ms. Folsom Myers joined the LBA team in June 2019 and currently teaches middle school English and History. She earned her B.S. in Education from Hyles-Anderson College in 2006. With a heart for shaping young minds, she enjoys helping students succeed in grammar by teaching structured writing through “sentence steps” and bringing civics and government to life—especially during election years.

Ms. Myers serves in the Welcome Center and in the Special Needs ministry at Lighthouse Baptist Church. She enjoys reading, crocheting, traveling, and learning new things. Her beloved dog is her faithful companion, and together they enjoy many adventures.

Her life verses are Psalm 71:16–18, which reflect her desire to declare God’s power to the next generation.
