Nathan Shaffer

Mr. Nathan Shaffer teaches middle school Bible, 7th grade World History, and elementary PE. With a degree in Pastoral Theology from Southern Indiana Baptist College, he is passionate about helping students build lasting relationships with God and succeed in every area of life. Mr. Shaffer especially enjoys teaching Bible and seeing kids grow spiritually.

He and his wife have been married for 17 wonderful years and are proud parents of three children: Brooklyn, Tyler, and Savannah. Mr. Shaffer teaches the Abundant Life adult Sunday School class and serves as a church door greeter and altar worker.

When not in the classroom, you’ll find him grilling out with his family on Saturdays during college football season. A fun fact: he’s a die-hard Kentucky sports fan and loves Disney World—he’s been three times!

His life verse is 2 Timothy 1:7—“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
